In the lead-up to taking on the leadership role, Shanks has spent time visiting the teams in Auckland and Wellington to learn more about the new association and the founding bodies.

Financial Advice NZ stated it would continue to help members with onboarding queries and setting up their member profiles over the coming weeks.

The new body also made its submission to MBIE on its recent disclosure consultation paper (see: Focus on Client Costs…).

Financial Advice New Zealand is set to launch on the 1 July.
