Financial Advice NZ CEO, Katrina Shanks, said, “Time-out to network, to glean new insight and new ideas, and to a get current view of the advice-world and the many changes – there’s a lot for every attendee at this year’s Conference.

“If you’re joining us in Rotorua, I encourage you to keep this in mind: what are the three key learnings from Conference that will grow my business, and technical or personal skills,” she said.

During the Conference, the new body is also set to announce the inaugural Practitioner Board Members (voted on by members in the recent weeks) and the winners of the Excellence in Advice awards.

“I am looking forward to being able to meet and talk with many members from all types of advice,”  Shanks said.

“As we all know, there is a lot moving and changing in the advice industry at the moment. Conference offers a great opportunity – and the ideal time – to hear from our members and share our plans and initiatives for the future of advice and the role our members play in helping Kiwis thrive.”
