Damen will lead Kepa’s adviser training and development programmes, building and implementing the Kepa program for adviser competency and ongoing professional development.

Kepa Chief Executive, Brendon Neal, said the role is a key strategic appointment for the dealer.

“By having our own accredited and qualified in-house trainer Kepa can deliver the NZCFS5 training at a significant discount to members as well as providing valuable on-going coaching support to assist members to complete the assignment work and achieve the qualification,” he explained.

Neal said that personal coaching and tutoring is integral to training success, adding the new role will also have accountability for CPD content, new adviser induction and ongoing training, and implementing a training course schedule for Kepa.

Neal said Kepa’s first group of advisers will commence classroom training on the Life and Health strand in mid-October.

Kepa will then create a schedule of classroom dates and publish a Kepa training calendar for 2019.

“We’ll be asking for expressions of interest so that we can anticipate future numbers,” said Neal.

Kepa stated it will release further information on pricing and upcoming training dates in the coming weeks.
