Partners Life has announced the appointment of Tracey Lonergan to the newly created role of Chief Claims Officer, commencing 30 September 2019.
Lonergan has previously held roles at Sovereign, Asteron and most recently as Head of Claims at AIA.
She will be critical to the delivery of Partners Life’s major claims projects and the ongoing leadership of its claims team, Partners Life stated in an update to advisers.
“We are investing heavily in our claims systems and processes as part of our continuous improvement program in this critical area.
“We are embarking on several strategic projects in claims which will transform this area of our business and the right leadership is essential to success.”
The insurer stated Lonergan brings exceptionally strong claims expertise, a track record of innovation and excellent leadership skills to the team.
