AIA NZ has appointed Ben McQuay to the role of Strategic Accounts Manager. McQuay was the firm’s Regional Business Development Manager for the Northern region and will start his new role on Monday, 15 August.
McQuay has been involved with the financial services industry for almost 20 years, with more than 14 years at AIA.
Sam Tremethick, AIA NZ’s Chief Partnership Insurance Officer says that with the changing regulatory landscape, and operating within the FAP framework, the role of Strategic Accounts Manager continues to be critical for the firm as the key conduit between its business and the independent financial adviser market.
“We know Ben will bring great market expertise and relationship management experience to this position, which will be invaluable to the ongoing success of our key partnerships,” says Tremethick.
