In an indication of its expanding growth and engagement with the sector, the Financial Services Council has appointed a Chief Operating Officer.
Rachelle HardieNeil has been announced as the successful appointee for this newly-created role, which the council says is intended to strengthen its senior leadership team in order to deliver more value to the its 106 members.
HardieNeil joins the FSC after an 11-year stint at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic, where she served as its Executive Vice President. Her career experience spans roles in New Zealand, Australia and the United States. She holds an MBA from Northwest Missouri State University and a Masters in Public Affairs from the University of Missouri.
The new COO, who formally commenced with the council following its annual conference in September, says she is “…looking forward to serving the members of the FSC and supporting the sector in addressing policy and consumer opportunities to raise the financial literacy and wellbeing of all New Zealanders.”
