RiskinfoNZ is a free digital news and information resource service designed for all NZ financial advisers. Our focus will be to report on all the life insurance news that has relevance for you and for your business. In particular, RiskinfoNZ has been designed and written for:

  • Paraplanners
  • Dealer group principals, executives and staff
  • All other industry participants

Our service is intended to keep you up to date with the latest news, information, events and trends from within the life insurance sector in New Zealand.

Each week you will receive your free news update that will let you know about the most recent news, product and services initiatives from all the life companies, dealer groups, regulators and other service providers.

All these stories will be available for you to read via our RiskinfoNZ website service, along with lots of other useful information and resources.

Peter Sobels

Peter Sobels has worked in the financial services industry for thirty years, working with life insurance companies and research groups. In 2008 he founded Riskinfo as a dedicated online news and information resource for the Australian life insurance and financial services industry, particularly for advisers.

In 2018, RiskinfoNZ has now been launched, with similar aims to serve the news and information needs of all financial advisers, but particularly risk-focussed advisers, operating in the New Zealand financial services market.

Maya Breen

Maya Breen has been reporting on the financial services industry across New Zealand for the past three years.

Prior to joining RiskinfoNZ, she worked as a journalist with a number of leading financial services B2B print and digital publications.

A graduate of The University of Western Australia, Maya holds a Master of International Journalism and a B.Sc. (Archaeology/Science Communication).
