News that Asteron Life is offering grants totalling $20,000 to help a selection of advisers who attended this year’s MDRT Annual Meeting in Vancouver attracted significant reader interest this week…
Asteron Life has launched a programme offering four $5,000 grants to advisers who attended this year’s MDRT annual meeting in Vancouver.
Tony Arthur, Asteron Life’s EM of Life Distribution, says while the grants will be appreciated by those who win them, he expects all advisers who attended the MDRT event will realise significant value from the experience.
“The quantity and quality of content, speakers and the sharing of best practice at the MDRT conference sessions was an incredible experience for all attendees,” says Arthur.
“And that is both in the formal speaker and engagement session and informally through conversation and networking.
“In reality, the trick to getting the best value from the experience, is being clear on what are the one or two things that someone can implement, as opposed to committing to too many ideas that never gain traction.”
Arthur says Asteron Life supports the work of MDRT New Zealand in growing its membership and providing opportunities for financial advisers to attend local and international events.
He says Asteron Life will work alongside all financial advisers who make a submission to support the realisation of their goals.
