Fidelity Life has celebrated the achievements of financial advisers across New Zealand, hosting graduation ceremonies for its 2025 Adviser edge programmes – Professional pathways and Advice masters.

The insurer says that throughout 2025, advisers engaged in workshops and coaching sessions led by some of the industry’s most respected experts.

Advice masters participants worked closely with Tony Dench, supported by guest appearances from Shaun Quincey (Simfuni), Jeremy Muir (MinterEllisonRuddWatts), Henry Lynch (Faraday), Henri Eliot (Board Dynamics), and advisers from BNZ and Deloitte.

Professional pathways advisers benefited from guidance by Kirsten Leng and specialists including Professor Yalcin Akay (Melbourne Business School), Steven Burgess (Compliance Refinery), Cecilia Farrow (Thrive Consulting), Amy Watson (AW Consulting), Tony Hughes (Sales IQ global) and Marloo [AI for financial advisers].

Bronwyn Kirwan, Fidelity Life Chief Commercial Officer, congratulated the 50 graduates of both programmes noting these advisers “…aren’t just shaping their own careers; they’re shaping the future of financial advice in New Zealand.”

The company says the ceremonies recognised advisers who invested significant time and effort this year to “…strengthen their professional capability, elevate their businesses, and deliver better outcomes for customers. The final workshops focused on business planning and efficiencies, including how advisers can leverage technology and AI to future-proof their businesses for 2026 and beyond.”

Kirwan says the goal with Adviser edge is to develop the world’s best risk advisers.
