Chubb Life Insurance New Zealand has appointed an experienced insurance and financial services executive, Jaco Grobbelaar, as Chief Financial Officer.
The insurer says Grobbelaar brings to Chubb more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors across New Zealand, South Africa and the UK, including senior roles at Sovereign (AIA) and Westpac.
Before joining Chubb Life NZ, he was with Partners Life, where most recently he led the finance function team across a range of activities.
Gail Costa, CEO at Chubb, says Grobbelaar has a strong track record of optimising financial planning and reporting processes, driving efficiency and successfully leading teams through change.
“I’m really looking forward to having [him] on board and have every confidence that his expertise, experience and leadership will further strengthen our senior leadership team.”
