PPS Mutual is set to launch into the NZ life insurance market before the end of the month.
This move follows confirmation earlier this week that the newest life insurer to enter the New Zealand market has now fulfilled all regulatory requirements and received its licence from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (see: PPS Mutual Receives Green Light).
The mutual insurer has been steadily recruiting and planning for its launch over the last 18 months, where its proposition will be distributed to professionals through a select group of accredited, independent financial advisers.

“Our focus is on building enduring partnerships with advisers who share our commitment to professional integrity, personalised advice, and strong customer outcomes,” said Chief Executive, Billy Lynch, who added: “We look forward to working alongside advisers to deliver a unique proposition for professionals.”
The PPS Mutual product range is also set to be included within the Quotemonster product comparison service in a coordinated approach informed by the timing of its launch strategy.
Riskinfo will monitor and report further news around the entry of PPS Mutual into the New Zealand advised life insurance market over the coming weeks and months.
