Chubb Life NZ’s Executive Leadership Team is now at full strength, following the appointment of three “highly respected” industry leaders.

CEO Paula ter Brake says Andrew Webster has been appointed as Chief Growth Officer with former AIA executive Sharron Botica appointed as Chief Customer and Marketing Officer and Damien Leng coming in as Chief Innovation Officer.

Andrew Webster.

A message from ter Blake says the appointments mark “…an exciting new chapter for our business where growth, innovation, along with customer and partner experience are our absolute priorities.”

Her message says Webster joins Chubb Life with “…deep industry relationships and a proven track record in growth, having led one of New Zealand’s largest distribution teams across retail lending and insurance products at ANZ Bank.

“Together with Chris Hand and our growing team of Business Partnership Managers and Employee Group Scheme specialists, Andrew will ensure Chubb Life continues to strengthen and grow partnerships across our IFA network, delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service experiences.”

Sharron Botica.

Ter Blake says Botica brings “…extensive executive experience in life and health insurance, including multiple C-suite roles at AIA. She is widely respected for her strategic vision, integrity and ability to drive growth and transformation.”

She says Botica’s customer expertise, industry relationships and multi-national experience will be an asset to Chubb Life.

Leng has a track record in innovation, agile delivery and transformation across financial services and data industries including roles at Westpac, Assurity Consulting, Core Logic and ASB.

Damien Leng.

“He is recognised for his strategic thinking, ability to bridge business and technology, and for consistently challenging the status quo, enabling Chubb Life to accelerate its transformation agenda,” ter Blake says.

Her message also noted that Kylie Oldham (nee Stubbs) is being welcomed back to Chubb Life as Group Schemes Growth Manager. She brings  more than 15 years of specialist group insurance experience, including expertise in technical pricing and business development with AIA NZ and Fidelity Life.

ter Blake concludes that “…with a firm commitment to the advice industry we are now entering our next phase of strategic execution – giving us the capabilities and capacity to move faster towards our ambition to be the Number 1 choice for IFA’s.”
