Committed to its growth strategy, Rothbury Insurance Brokers has set down a permanent presence in Nelson, bringing its total office locations to 18 nationally.
With more than 40,000 clients, the expansion will help cater to the insurance broking group’s growing client base, which increases by a hundred new clients each week.
Four out of the company’s 260 employees will be based in the Nelson branch, headed by Phil Thompson as the new Branch Manager, who has 15 years experience at Rothbury’s behind him.
“I’m very excited to take up the helm of the Nelson branch and look forward to helping new clients with their insurance needs”, says Mr Thompson.
Referring to the increasing client numbers, Rothbury’s Managing Director, Roger Abel said, “providing the right service to meet their needs is critical”.
