Financial Advice New Zealand has released details to its members wishing to enter its 2019 Adviser Awards.
There are 16 awards across five categories and entry is open to all practitioner members of the association.
The new-look Awards programme launched on 5 June and nominations are already underway.
“The financial advice sector is full of advisers who go above and beyond for their clients; who provide exceptional service and quality advice; and have a real passion for helping Kiwis thrive,” says Financial Advice New Zealand CEO, Katrina Shanks.
“Not only do these advisers make a meaningful difference to the lives of Kiwis, their work helps to build positive awareness of our sector,” she said.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating the success and excellence of our winners at the 2019 Conference Awards Dinner on 22 August.”
The 2019 Adviser Awards Categories are:
Service to the Profession Award
This award recognises an adviser who has made an outstanding contribution to the financial services sector and has gone above and beyond to champion for or to enhance the profession.

Outstanding Adviser Awards
Four awards (one for each financial advice stream) that recognise members who help New Zealanders achieve financial wellbeing through providing an outstanding financial advice service and who exhibit professional excellence.

Rising Star Awards
Four Awards (one for each financial advice stream) that recognise the brightest new talent in advice amongst the association’s members in their chosen field of financial advice by demonstrating that they provide high quality financial advice, deliver an exceptional client experience and show commitment to their professional and personal development.
