Cigna New Zealand has a new head of distribution with the appointment of David Haak who joins the firm from Sovereign.
Haak was an executive at Sovereign for more than 20 years and worked at ASB group investments for five years.
As Cigna NZ’s General Manager – Distribution, Haak will be responsible for leading the firm’s distribution channels.
This, says Cigna NZ, includes partnering and growing its presence in the Independent Financial Adviser channel, leading its partnership with the ANZ bank, and expanding its group insurance sales channel.
Haak took up his new role on Monday 5 October.
