Common Sense Financial Planning of Napier has joined the Plus4 Insurance Solutions cooperative.
Brad MacDonald is the Director and Financial Adviser at Common Sense Financial Planning, having taken the agency over from Gary Hemmings who announced his retirement on 12 March.
MacDonald says joining the cooperative will provide added strength to his firm’s insurance offering. He has seven years’ experience in financial services, having started his first job in the sector in 2014. Four years later he joined Common Sense Financial Planning.
Before stepping down Hemmings enjoyed a 34-year career in the financial advice sector, with his first job in the industry being with Norwich Union Insurance, a role he started in 1987.
Plus4’s Group General Manager Peter Standish says MacDonald is an experienced and highly regarded financial services professional with a successful practice.
The Plus4 cooperative was established in Nelson in 2008, it has 46 advisers working from 16 locations between Whangarei and Invercargill.
