The Financial Advice NZ roadshows will tour the country with the FMA in June, and a list of five destinations and dates have been confirmed:
- 1 June: Auckland – Remeura Golf Club
- 8 June: Hamilton – Mighty River Domain
- 15 June: Wellington – venue TBC
- 23 June: Christchurch online and venue TBC
- 29 June: Dunedin – Dunedin Centre
Katrina Shanks, CEO of Financial Advice NZ says the roadshows will cover-off full FAP licencing and give attendees a chance to ask the experts questions.
“We’ll be unbundling what full licencing looks like, and what advisers need to be thinking about in detail – so they can meet the full details of the licence,” she says.
“We are delivering an event which will provide quality professional development and allow attendees the time to network with colleagues and friends.
“We know many of you are turning your mind to the final step in the new regime and considering full licensing. We will be discussing the standard conditions of full licensing and start to unbundle some of these in details.”
