Southern Cross Healthcare’s interim CEO Chris White (pictured) has been appointed to the top job permanently.
White began with Southern Cross as CEO on the insurance side of the business in 2017. From there, he moved across to its healthcare division as Chief Operating Officer, and then to interim CEO in October last year.
White says health is an exciting sector with “…huge opportunities to deliver quality outcomes to New Zealanders”.
Greg Gent, Chair of the Southern Cross Healthcare Board, says White’s strengths in leadership and his commercial – but personal approach – to building a strong and sustainable business are evident and that the business remains in a strong position.
