Joy Marslin, board chair of Simplicity and an independent director of Strategi Group, is to join the board of dispute resolution firm Financial Services Complaints Limited (FSCL) from 1 October.
Marslin, who will act as as an industry representative on the board, has worked in the financial services sector for more than 30 years across client services, product, leadership, and governance positions.
Her experience in governance roles includes Head of ANZ Wealth and Head of Westpac Private Wealth Management.
FSCL’s board chair, Jane Meares says Marslin has a broad range of experience “…which will add incredible value” to the organisation.
Stepping down from the FSCL board after 10 years is Roger Kerr.
“Mr Kerr has made a very valuable contribution to FSCL’s development and strategic direction over the past decade,” says Meares.
“He will be missed. We thank him for his wise counsel and his service.”
