Based on feedback from advisers Partners Life has streamlined its claims process so consumers can lodge claims online.
“We are thrilled to announce the first step on our journey to fully digitise claims by introducing Medical Claims Digital Lodgement,” states the firm.
Under the new system, consumers can submit claims for pre-approval, reimbursement, or both, via Partners Life’s website.
“Our handy search tool helps consumers find their condition and treatment easily when lodging their claim,” states the firm.
“The tool also allows them to upload all relevant documentation to ensure we have what we need to begin assessing their claim and to prevent any unnecessary delays.”
The company says its new system will provide additional ease to clients when lodging medical claims and says the update is as a direct result of feedback from advisers “…but it is just the beginning! We will be expanding the functionality over time”.
As part of the firm’s move to a new Claims Management System it is also moving to queue-based assessment of lump sum claims.
“This will deliver a simpler and more efficient ‘event to outcome’ claims experience for these clients,” says the firm.
