Melissa Cantell has resigned as Fidelity Life CEO to take up the role of CEO of Aon New Zealand. Cantell will remain with the firm until June.
Fidelity Life states it has delivered “…significant transformation achievements” under Cantells’ leadership over the past two years, including the introduction of an updated tech platform, the acquisition of Westpac Life, and welcomed shareholder Ngāi Tahu Holdings.
The firm says it is disappointing to see Cantell go and will start the process to find a replacement CEO.
Cantell will replace Aon NZ’s CEO Geoff Blampied who is to retire.
