A new online claims service is being launched by nib, although the firm says development of the system has taken longer than expected.
Once launched, nib says advisers registered for its Adviser Access will be sent an email the day after one of their clients makes a claim, or the status of their claim changes.
“Through nib Adviser Access you’ll be able to see details of the claim as well as details of your clients’ recent claims, 24/7 when and where you need it,” states the firm.
nib says advisers don’t need to do anything and that they will be sent more information in the coming weeks.
“For advisers who haven’t got around to registering for nib Adviser Access, now would be a good time to do it,” says the firm.
