The first stage of nib’s life and living product range will be launched at the firm’s next series of face-to-face seminars, where advisers will also hear a recap of its recent product enhancements.
Called New Healthy Horizons: Putting New Life into Health and Work, the seminars will be held across the country starting in New Plymouth on 22 May, and concluding in Auckland on 2 June.
Among those taking part include Chris Carnall, nib’s Head of Adviser Distribution, as well as the firm’s regional Adviser Partner Managers.
“In April 2022, we kicked off a major project to separate Kiwi Insurance, now nib nz insurance, from the Kiwibank customer systems,” says Carnall.
“We will soon be able to offer the nib Life & Living Insurance product through the adviser channel. We’re also developing a range of fully featured life and living products for the adviser channel, but that’s a little way off.”
The firm has also been deploying various services to make it easier for advisers to focus on having more ‘healthy’ client conversations and there will be training opportunities for advisers so that from 1 June they can recommend nib’s life and living products.
Nib says that thanks to its group health continuation campaign, advisers are now able to better support their clients who want to continue their nib health cover after they leave their employer’s group scheme.
