The FSC has launched its 2023 Awards programme, which aims to showcase excellence across New Zealand’s financial services industry.

“We are excited to launch the 2023 programme,” said FSC CEO Richard Klipin.

“The Awards are designed to showcase excellence and shine the spotlight on people, teams and businesses across the sector that are focussed on helping to build the financial confidence and wellbeing of New Zealanders.”

Entries can be submitted for individuals, teams, and organisations across eight categories:

  1. Emerging Trailblazer of the Year
  2. Contribution to Community
  3. Team of the Year
  4. Excellence in Wellbeing and Inclusion
  5. Excellence in Sustainability Practises
  6. Excellence in Governance
  7. Workplace Savings
  8. Chairman’s Award for Services to the Industry

This year, the awards have been revamped to include an Excellence in Sustainability Practises Award for financial services organisations that have gone above and beyond in the ESG space.

Another new award is the Contribution to the Community Award, which is open to not-for-profits and community organisations working to improve the financial wellbeing of a community.

The FSC Awards recognises and rewards excellence across the KiwiSaver, investments, life insurance, health insurance, professional advice and Workplace Savings sectors, and these awards aim to recognise the pinnacle of excellence across these sectors.

“We look forward to receiving the submissions, all of which contain high calibre work,” said Klipin.

“Our judging panel is looking forward to receiving all the nominations that demonstrate how our community is working hard to improve the financial wellbeing of New Zealanders.”

The 2023 FSC Awards will be presented at a Gala Dinner on the 16 August 2023 at The Cordis Hotel, as part of the Building Consumer Confidence Conference held by the FSC.
