Changes at nib mean its regionally based Adviser Partner Managers will now report to Stu Crowther, who’s taken up the position of National Manager – Adviser Distribution.
Crowther has been working in business development roles for 12 years, the last four as nib’s Adviser Partner Manager for the Lower North Island, which he will continue to look after in his new role.
Also reporting to Crowther will be Stan Bennetto in his group Business Development Manager role. Bennetto will support advisers with new group business opportunities, and provide specialist group health and group life resources.
Ian Sargeant has taken up the new role of National Manager – Group, Partnerships & Strategy.
Sargeant has been with nib for five years, and has experience in B2B markets.
He will continue leading the group and partnerships team and provide input to nib’s distribution strategy.
Pippa Leydon and Virginia Brown will continue with their current roles under Sargeant supporting group and iwi business relationships.
Sargeant will also take over responsibility for a combined retail and group Relationship Manager team.
The Adviser Relationship Managers will report to Sargeant through their Relationship Manager Team Leader, Kate Weatherall.
Chris Carnall has been appointed to a newly created role as nib’s Head of Distribution.
He has responsibility for both adviser distribution and group and partnerships. He will lead the teams responsible for delivering the firm’s overall adviser proposition.
