Asteron Life has been named Life Insurance Company of the Year by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
The announcement was made during ANZIIF’s 11th industry awards evening on Wednesday 22 November in Auckland.
Grant Willis, Executive General Manager for Asteron Life says independent ratings from advisers saw the firm ranked number one for claims management and adviser relationships, and it achieved an average claims acceptance rate of 94% across the 2023 financial year. He thanked the firm’s partners, including independent financial advisers.
AIA NZ won the award for Excellence in Environmental, Social and Governance Change.

“The awards highlight the incredible work organisations and individuals are doing to make a difference in the insurance community.”
