Asteron Life has appointed Tony Arthur to the role of the Executive Manager Life Distribution.
Executive General Manager Life Grant Willis says Arthur has a wealth of experience in strategic distribution leadership roles in financial services including the life insurance industry “…and he takes the reins at a time Asteron continues to build on strong growth in new business.”
Arthur joins Suncorp New Zealand from his previous role leading Partners Life distribution and, prior to that, senior executive roles at BNZ leading retail, marketing and distribution.
Willis says Arthur has a “…deep understanding of the New Zealand life market and coupled with years of experience in senior executive roles in retail banking distribution and marketing, he has a solid track record in strategic execution and building relationships.”
He adds that the firm’s advisers and distribution partners will value Arthur’s knowledge and breadth of experience.
