AIA is backing a new TV show called The Upside. Working with TVNZ and NZME – publisher of The New Zealand Herald – the series will see host Scotty Stevenson chat with well-known Kiwis to discuss mental wellbeing.
Kiwis taking part include Sir Graham Henry, Jason Gunn, Dame Valerie Adams, Hayley Sproull, Detective Inspector Scott Beard and Awa Puna. Each will share the struggles they’ve faced, how they’ve overcome them, and what they do to protect their wellbeing.
AIA NZ’s Chief Customer Officer, Angela Busby, hopes the programme will encourage open conversations about mental wellbeing.
The Upside screens 2pm Sundays on TVNZ 1 as well as online. A companion podcast has also been launched.
