Do you agree with the FMA’s findings that only 57% of consumers believe they receive fair treatment from their insurance provider.
- No (63%)
- Yes (25%)
- Not sure (12%)
Only a quarter of those who have so far cast a vote in our latest poll agree with the findings of an FMA survey that most consumers are treated fairly by their insurer.
The regulator asked 3,000 people a series of questions to gauge what they thought was fair when it came to dealing with financial institutions.
Among the FMA’s conclusions is that a little more than half (57%) of consumers believe they receive fair treatment from their insurance provider.
While our poll still has a week to run, the results so far show that 62% of you do not agree with this finding, 26% do agree, and 13% aren’t sure.
The FMA says that while its survey results are not absolute, its findings suggest there is a consistent understanding of what is fair by consumers.
