The adviser support programme (ASP), launched by Partners Life in 2018, is being handed over to compliance and training firm Dacreed.
Originally launched as a vehicle to help advisers get up to speed with the then incoming regulatory reforms, the firm says the offering needs to evolve to meet the current needs of those working in the sector.
Dacreed has been selected to take over the ASP, and update and modernise it to provide advisers with a turnkey compliance framework.
Dacreed is part of Profsee, a financial services group that also owns Professional IQ, a provider of the NZQA New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services, Level 5. Dacreed also leverages the expertise of Rosewill Consulting, which Partners Life worked with to create the ASP.
“This means Dacreed can provide you with continuity, and a turnkey compliance framework that reminds you when and how to meet your regulatory obligations,” states the insurer.
“Unless you have all your obligations and evidence documented already, this is probably the most time and cost-efficient way to ensure you are running a strong and healthy business that is prepared for a monitoring visit by the FMA.”
The Partners Life ASP – in its current form – will cease on 28 March 2025. Users are advised by the firm to “tidy up your documents in the programme, and export your latest Word outputs and the resource templates by 31 January 2025”.
