Creating lots of interest this week was our report on two new positions which have been established within the Partners Life executive team, with one specifically tailored for the adviser community…
Six months after arriving at Partners Life, CEO Michael Weston is making changes by adding two new roles to his senior executive team.
Andries van Graan, Chief of Adviser Distribution, is now Chief Distribution Officer. His new role, says Weston, is part of a drive to strengthen and diversify distribution.
“This will include strengthening partnerships with independent financial advisers through overseeing greater investment in Partners Life’s adviser distribution manager team, training, and service innovation,” he says.
“At the same time, Mr van Graan will be working to amplify Partners Life’s customer referral partnership with BNZ.”
Kate Dron, Chief and Appointed Actuary, is now Chief Customer Solutions Officer.
Her role includes establishing a business-led data, analytics, and insights team to obtain “greater customer insights, and develop new products, and services”.
Weston says: “I’m excited that Andries and Kate are taking on these newly-created roles.
“They are seasoned industry professionals with an outstanding track record.
“By leveraging their expertise, Partners Life will continue to be at the forefront of our exciting and ever-changing industry focussed on building a brighter and more secure future for New Zealanders.”
