Fidelity Life has made five new appointments to its Adviser council which it says continues the business’ commitment to collaborate with the adviser community.

The insurer says the 10-strong group plays a key role, giving industry insight and feedback about the business’ products and services, helping it better meet market needs.
The new faces to the Fidelity Life Adviser council are:
- Andrea Reid, Director and Adviser – Aliya Brokers, Waikato
- Cory Bennett, Director and Adviser – Float Financial Advisers, Auckland
- David Jochem, Director and Adviser – Insure, Christchurch
- James Pearson, Head of Risk – Total Life, Christchurch
- Sarah Hunger, Managing Director and Adviser – Cura Advisers, Whanganui

Fidelity Life’s Chief Commercial Officer Bronwyn Kirwan welcomed the new members.
“These great new appointments reflect Fidelity Life’s ongoing commitment to listen, act on feedback, and adapt to help both the business and its advisers grow together…”

Kirwan also farewelled five other members who have been serving on the Council since it began two years ago.
She says their expertise and guidance over the last two years “…has set the foundation for the strong collaboration we enjoy with the industry today.”

The new Adviser council members will join existing members:
- Josh Cuttance – SHARE NZ
- Nick Wells – Amicus
- Dean Logan – First Capital Financial Services
- Karl Moran – Wealth Protection Specialists
- Amanda Haskins – Amanda Haskins Insurance Solutions

The outgoing members of the council are:
- Johny Winstone – Insurance Market
- Emma Hunter – Financial Independence
- Mark Breen – Total Life
- Yang Gu – Your Generation Financial Services
- Andrew Millar – FMG
The Adviser council meets quarterly, with the first session of 2025 to be held later this month.
