The MDRT Global Conference will be held in Sydney from 23–26 August 2026, bringing financial advisers, industry leaders and early-to mid-career professionals together for four days of education, recognition, and networking.
The event, which will take place at Sydney’s International Convention Centre, is open to both MDRT members and non-members.
MDRT says the conference is positioned as a learning-driven experience that highlights achievement while fostering connection and knowledge-sharing across the financial services sector.
The programme will include keynote presentations, specialist workshops, and the presentation of MDRT’s company awards, recognising high performance and innovation within the profession.
Among those taking to the stage are:
- UK-based brand strategist Natalie Hales focuses on helping advisers build authority and differentiate their professional identity in an increasingly competitive and AI-influenced marketplace
- Executive communication coach Rich Bracken will arrive from the USA to deliver insights on leadership presence, emotional intelligence and high-impact communication, drawing on experience working with global organisations and senior executives
- Mike Posner is a Grammy-nominated artist, speaker, and adventurer who’s on a mission to uplift and transform. He will share perspectives shaped by his personal journey of resilience and transformation
- Innovation and digital health leader Azran Osman-Rani from Kuala Lumpur will contribute insights from his experience in aviation, media and health technology, with a focus on leadership and business innovation
- Communication specialist Matt Abrahams will also feature. He’s known for his work in strategic communication and effective presenting, and is a lecturer in organisational behaviour at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business
