Quotemonster is bringing together “some of the leading voices in New Zealand’s insurance industry” for a new full-day event focused on the future of insurance advice.
In an update to subscribers, Quality Product Research Director, Russell Hutchinson, says Quotemonster’s Re:thinking Insurance: “Where reinsurers, insurers and advisers explore what’s next”, will be held on November 10, 2026 at the New Zealand International Convention Centre in Auckland and there will be a limit of 120 attendees.
He says the Quotemonster event will bring together reinsurers, financial advisers, insurers, and other industry leaders “…for a day of discussion and debate about some of the biggest issues facing the industry.” This includes:
- The future of insurance advice in New Zealand
- Product sustainability and the challenges facing insurers and advisers
- Improving long-term client outcomes
- How the industry needs to evolve to meet changing consumer needs
Hutchinson says the company has already confirmed two global reinsurers from Australia, together with representation from New Zealand life and health insurers, CEOs, industry leaders, experts, with more speakers and details to be announced.
“With attendance limited to 120 people, Re:thinking Insurance is designed to encourage genuine discussion, different perspectives and meaningful interaction between the people shaping the future of our industry,” he states.
