Resonate, New Zealand’s industry-led conference for insurance innovation, has announced its 2026 programme featuring industry leaders and regulators, transformation experts, and AI and insurtech practitioners.
Convenor Simfuni says Resonate26, which will be held on October 22 on Auckland’s North Shore, is supported by InsurTech New Zealand and Insurtech Australia.

Now in its third year “…Resonate 2026 is firmly established on the New Zealand and Australian insurtech calendar, creating a genuine cross-industry insurance conference featuring industry leaders and regulators, transformation experts, and AI and insurtech practitioners,” the company says.
The agenda spans five sessions:
- Regulation and the Road Ahead
- AI in Action: Beyond the Hype
- Tech Decisions in the Boardroom
- View from the World
- Building to a Billion
There will also be three live insurtech demonstrations.
Shaun Quincey, CEO of Simfuni and Convener of the event, says every insurer and intermediary “…regardless of the type of policies they sell, is under pressure to transform their business to meet changing customer expectations.
“The challenges facing insurance are largely industry-wide, so bringing general, life & health and insurtech leaders together under one roof means the best incubate and reach market faster,” he says.
Business commentator, Madison Malone hosts the event which features:
- Kris Faafoi, Chief Executive, ICNZ
- Kirk Hope, CEO, FSC
- Helen van Orten, Director, Co-operative Bank
- Michael Hewes, Director, FMA
