Renowned speaker, motivator and mentor to financial advisers, Don Connelly, will be sharing the wealth of his wisdom at this week’s inaugural Financial Advice NZ Conference in Rotorua.
Connelly, whose resume is unmatched, will be one of the main platform speakers at the opening plenary session of this week’s Conference, which commences with a series of masterclasses on Wednesday 26 September, leading into the Conference proper on Thursday and Friday this week.
Part of Connelly’s mantra revolves around the issue of trust, which is an ongoing issue impacting the New Zealand (and global) advice sector.
“People looking for an adviser aren’t looking for information; they’re looking for someone they can trust,” says Connelly, who asserts that the one over-riding question clients need their adviser to answer is ‘Can I depend on you?’.
In his presentation at the Conference, Connelly will reveal a pathway for advisers that will help them ‘stand out from the crowd’ in their pursuit to secure the outcome of trust and dependability with both their current and prospective clients.
