Our latest poll explored whether you found clients to be more critical about the value of income protection and critical illness insurance compared to life insurance.
At the time of writing, it was a draw with 44 percent saying yes their clients were more critical of income protection and critical illness products and 44 percent saying no. Eleven percent were not sure.
Although our polls never claim to have any scientific validity, the results are a contrast to the FSC’s research which explored trust and value and ways in which consumers assess the value of insurance.
Its research found that consumers perceived income protection and critical illness cover as more expensive and with a harder and more subjective claims process.
What have your clients told you about how they view these types of cover?
