Marie Hosking (pictured) is Suncorp New Zealand’s new executive manager, corporate affairs and will take up her role on 28 January.
Part of her role includes responsibility for promotion and reputation management for the Asteron Life brand in New Zealand.
Hosking arrives to Suncorp from Air New Zealand where she led the airline’s communications department. Previous to that she led power utility firm Mercury Energy’s communications team.
A press release from Suncorp says Hosking has “extensive reputation, crisis management and journalism experience” including working in the parliamentary press gallery and as a ministerial press secretary.
Hosking says she is excited to be stepping into this role and looking forward to helping strengthen the reputation and deepen the connections Suncorp New Zealand’s brands have with customers.
