OnePath will officially be merged into Cigna at the end of the month following a merger that took just over a year.
Cigna New Zealand obtained final regulatory approval from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and the Overseas Investment Office for the acquisition of ANZ’s OnePath Insurance business in October 2018.
Completion of the merger will take place 31 January and will mean the two businesses will begin operating as one – Cigna.
Cigna celebrated 100 years in business in 2018.
