The Financial Services Council is holding a series of webinars for financial advisers via the Zoom network.

In a newsletter to advisers, the FSC says that much like its conference programmes, its FSC Connect Webinars have been curated across a range of topics reflecting the issues faced by advisers during the country’s Level 4 lockdown.

The FSC says its 30-minute ‘Ted Talk’ style sessions are designed to give advisers a break, join with friends and colleagues, and connect with the FA community. Advisers are urged to pre-register.

At 3.30pm on Wednesday 8 April Rob Flannagan, chair of the Financial Services Council, will provide a broad view of the industry’s approach to COVID-19.

Richard Klipin, the FSC’s CEO, will then discuss the organisation’s approach to working together across the industry, and this will be followed by Q&A for advisers.

At 10am on Thursday 9 April, in a session introduced by Richard Klipin, Trish Sherson and Thomas Pryor from communications firm Sherson Willis will provide an insight into the media landscape and what is happening in and around the Beehive as we enter the third week of lockdown.

Sherson is a communications strategist with a background in media and politics. She moved into corporate communications in 2004 and co-founded Sherson Willis with Rewa in 2006.
