Cigna New Zealand is doubling service commission payments to independent financial advisers in June and July.
“We’re recognising the additional efforts that our advisers are making to look after their customers during these uncertain times,” says the firm’s CEO Gail Costa.
“As well as adapting to doing business under restrictions and finding new ways of supporting their customers, many have had to navigate their own financial challenges as a result of Covid-19.”
The announcement follows the Government’s call to ensure New Zealanders continue to have access to good financial advice in their communities.
“Supporting advisers so that they can continue to provide quality advice for their customers has never been more important,” says Costa.
