Financial Services Council is planning to hold its annual conference in Auckland on 8-9  September.

It will be held at the Cordis Hotel and tickets are on sale now. A full refund is being offered should the event not go ahead.

This year’s event is themed Generations, and – says the organisation’s CEO Richard Klipin – will include sub-themes such as wellbeing, sustainability, and guardianship.

“It’s about taking a much broader view of the sector,” says Klipin. “It is not just about money. It is about how we connect with our communities, about how we look after our resources, about how we look after all in our community.

“The Generations conference this year allows us to explore all of those themes under the banner of a very large event.”

Klipin says the conference will have a focus on insurance, KiwiSaver, and the professional advice market-place.

“We’ll be looking at the world of technology, Covid-19, and how that has significantly changed our lives,” he says.

The conference has seen a 25% attendance growth year on year and provides a platform for New Zealand’s political and regulatory leaders.
