Cigna New Zealand has released details of its new non-medical limits for its Assurance Extra and Business Assurance product suites.
The new limits are active now and will also be applied to new business currently in underwriting, says the company.
”We recognise the process of getting medical tests when applying for new policies can be time consuming for advisers and their customers,” says the company’s CEO Gail Costa.
“Our new non-medical limits reflect our commitment to looking out for our customers by making it easier to get cover without having to undergo medical tests with a doctor, resulting in faster and more streamlined processing through underwriting.”
Costa says the changes come off the back of a number of recent improvements from the company including the release of its new quote tool, new product and pricing enhancements to its advice-based product suites, and the doubling of service commission for June and July.
Costa says: “This year we’ve focused on making it easier for advisers to do business with us by improving our tools and processes to support them through the advice journey, and transform the way we bring new customers on board.”
