0

In last week’s poll we asked if you support the FMA’s decision to allow advisers based in Australia to provide advice to clients in New Zealand.

Following the introduction of the Financial Markets Conduct (Australian Licensees) Exemption Notice 2020, Australian financial service licence holders will soon be able to operate in New Zealand without a local licence from the FMA.

While there’s still time to cast your vote, the current tally shows that 84 per cent disagree with the decision, 11 per cent support the FMA, and 5 per cent aren’t sure.

Do you support the FMA's decision to allow advisers based in Australia to service clients in New Zealand?

  • No (83%)
  • Yes (11%)
  • Not sure (6%)
