AIA NZ is reviewing a small number of what it calls “process-driven” roles at its Takapuna office as part of the wider group’s regular oversight of the company’s international resources.
A spokesperson for the firm says because it is part of the global organisation it does, from time to time, look for opportunities to “…leverage its international AIA expertise and to improve efficiency locally”.
“We are currently consulting on a partnership proposal and no decisions have been made yet,” says the spokesperson.
“All customer and adviser-facing roles will remain in New Zealand; in fact, we’re currently looking to create new local service roles.”
The company is advertising 30 roles on the Seek job site, with positions such as Customer Service Consultant and Senior Risk Manager among its vacancies.
