Partners Life is going into secondary schools as a support partner of Banqer High, an interactive online tool to help improve the financial literacy of school students. Thanks to the insurer, the tool now helps children understand the value of life and health insurance.

Since its launch last year Banqer High has been used by more than 20,000 secondary school students together with 140,000 younger students who use the primary and intermediate school version.

The insurer’s Chief Marketing Officer Kris Ballantyne says: “Partners Life has always had a core focus on financial literacy and closing the underinsurance gap in New Zealand.

“Over the past year we have reviewed our sponsorships to ensure they align with our purpose of reducing the gap, and one of the best ways we can do so is by investing our expertise in increasing the financial capability of Kiwi, starting at a young age.”
