Southern Cross Health Insurance has extended its free online GP consultations offer with CareHQ, and up to three online counselling or wellbeing coaching sessions with Raise, for a further three months.
Initially launched in December 2021 for a four-month period, it has now been extended to 30 June.
Nick Astwick, CEO Southern Cross Health Insurance, says the arrival of Omicron, and the challenges it has brought to the community, has meant increasing access to telehealth and mental wellbeing services – by removing the financial barriers – has been essential.
“The number of bookings from members to CareHQ and Raise have been consistently high since we launched the offer, so it was an easy decision to extend the support and help even more members,” he says.
“We’ve been living in a pandemic for two years, and people are exhausted and anxious about the ongoing uncertainty.”
