Nominations are now open for the 2022 Financial Advice New Zealand Awards. Members of the organisation can nominate themselves, their employees, or peers. Altogether there are 16 awards across five categories:
- Service to the Profession
- Outstanding Adviser
- Rising Star
- Outstanding Support Person
- Community Service
Among last year’s winners were Daniel Smithwood, IronOak; Richard Thomas, SHARE; and Sharyn Pask, ANZ.
Closing date for this year’s entries is 15 July and full details are here.
Winners will be named at a gala dinner during Financial Advice NZ’s Christchurch conference in September.
The organisation’s CEO Katrina Shanks says its two-day Ignite conference (6-7 September) is an important opportunity for the sector to come together and celebrate the work of New Zealand’s financial advisers and support staff.
