The Million Dollar Round Table organisation in New Zealand is re-emerging on the other side of the pandemic with a number of key appointments and upcoming initiatives.

Former country chair for the global adviser association, Brian Burgess, has recently been appointed as MDRT’s new Oceania Chair, while Auckland adviser, Rick Willis, steps into the NZ country chair role vacated by Christchurch-based Burgess.

Assisting Burgess and Willis in leveraging the value offered by MDRT, whose membership comprises financial advisers from more than 70 countries around the world, will be another experienced Auckland adviser, Tony Gribble, who will focus his efforts on the North Island, together with Christchurch-based Travis Hamilton, who will concentrate his efforts in working with South Island advisers.

Future services

In addition to the new appointments, which all came into effect recently, MDRT in New Zealand is on the cusp of announcing an expansion to the breadth of its service offer to the extent that other industry contributors – such as those working within institutions who provide services to advisers – can also have access to the wealth and depth of resources available via the global organisation.
