The top five medical claims based on the value of the surgery performed has been released by nib NZ.
In October, the firm’s top five health insurance claims amounted to more than $330,000, with the ages of those treated ranging from 31 to 73.
The firm says its list of highest-value claims illustrates the value of advice offered by financial advisers to their clients and demonstrates “…how worthwhile good cover can be”.
In financial year 2022, nib New Zealand paid $175 million in total net claims for its members.
